Brazil!

Here are a few pics from our trip to Brazil back in July.  We had a glorious time with the people of God in Brazil.

Sharing in the PUBLIC schools.  God opened up doors for us in Brazil that would just not happen in the U.S.  They simply wanted us to speak English to the kids, so we did….and we shared the gospel.  Pray that the Word of God would not return void in these kids’ hearts.

Marcos and Monica Souza, a missionary couple to Brazil, and two of our interpreters for the week.  In this pic they are showcasing a coffee tree.  Those little red things are coffee cherries and the pit is the “bean.”

Playing music for the kids at recess.

Enjoying a coconut that was given to Kerry by a family she visited.

A quick summary of the things God did:

- Our church was tremendously blessed by observing the health of Igresia de Batista de Nova Veneza (the church we were working with).  We brought home some very helpful concepts.

- We got to share the gospel with children in schools.

- On a day when a school principal (a woman who had turned from the Lord 20 years prior) had tried to thwart our efforts at bringing the gospel into her school by cancelling class for the day, we were able to share the gospel with the teachers and staff of the same school and God did a remarkable work!

- The youth of Igresia de Batista de Nova Veneza were greatly challenged by our youth to be bolder in sharing the gospel.

- We got to share the gospel with families in homes.

There was so much that happened and it would be very difficult to list everything, but know that God is at work in Brazil, as He is at work in every other corner of the globe and we were blessed to have been a part of His work in Brazil for eight days.
