Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Hello All,
Well, it has been another year for us in Kentucky land and we are so full of gratefulness to our Lord for all He has accomplished this year. Daniel has just finished his second year at Cedar Grove Baptist Church as Director of Youth, Music, and Media. Ministry has grabbed a hold of both of us with a greater force than we realized it would and our hearts have become deeply entwined with the people of God here at Cedar Grove. God has blessed this year by giving us eyes to see Him at work in the hearts of our youth, especially, and also to see Him at work in our congregation as a whole. He is leading us all to a greater unity in the faith and it is so humbling to see that God is the One accomplishing it, in spite of us.
Daniel has also just finished his third semester at Southern Seminary and is enjoying it thoroughly…so much so that he is starting to talk about doing Ph.D work. Of course, this will be decided for sure when he actually is done with his Master of Divinity, (which right now is set for December of ‘11), but he is certainly leaning towards continuing in school.
Isaiah and I (Kerry) like to keep ourselves pretty busy….actually that would be Isaiah’s job to keep Mom busy; I just follow along. Isaiah is a joy to us right now, as always. He is 17 months old and very independent. He tries to talk, but he gets mixed up with words…sometimes “Mommy” turns into “Meema” and “Daddy” turns into “Deeda,” but he understands much more than he can say. He gets a kick out of throwing trash away for Mom and retrieving different items when asked. His favorite toy right now is the toy tractor he got for Christmas….he likes to ride the real tractor with Daddy when he mows the lawn, so he got a kick out of having his own toy tractor to play with. He probably would like his red Radio Flyer wagon from Grandma and Grandpa Burton more, but he doesn’t get to play with it much since it is too big for the house and outside is too cold and the basement is not the best place for Mom to get anything done…so for a few more months it’ll have to be the toy tractor.
We hope all of you are doing well and are enjoying this time of year, celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus. Drop us a line and let us know how you are doing. We’d love to hear from anyone who actually reads this blog…that way we will know if we should update it more often….haha.
Much love to all of you,
Kerry, Daniel and Isaiah Wilson
